What are BLOCKS?
Blocks are often the names or "nicknames" that we associate ourselves with - consciously and subconsciously. We've accepted them as "who we are" even when it's not true. We've allowed ourselves to be "tagged" with multiple descriptions, some good and some not so good, all of which could be blocking what we want.
Other words that describe a "block" are barrier, tag, obstruction, roadblock, wall, hindrance, impediment, hurdle, degree, status, badge, brand, symbol or alias.
How many times have you heard someone say the following, either to themselves or to others?
- John, you idiot!
- I can't believe I'm so Stupid!
- I am so FAT!
- Susie, you are an accident waiting to happen!
- Bill, you're such a loser!
- Wow, I am such a klutz!
You get the idea. We identify not only with our given birth name, but with how we and others describe us. We accept that nickname by association, by repetition, and by experiences - most often negative descriptions rather than positive ones.
Visible & Invisible Tags
We've been "tagged" according to what we believe or think about ourselves. Some "tags" are right out there for everyone to see. Others are buried so deep we don't recognize them, even though they play a significant role in our lives.
For example, Steve readily shows his "Anger Tag" whereever he goes. What we don't see is his "Abandonment Tag" or "Ridicule Tag" buried deep in the subconscious. As we identify one tag and re-script it to something more appropriate, other tags show up.
Alter Those Tags
All negative "tags" can be altered. Affirmations, positive thinking, and re-scripting our negative "mental babble" is not enough. Our lives are filled with so much negative input from our surroundings, peers, radio, television, etc., that our subconscious still keeps telling us:
- You can't do that!
- You are kidding yourself!
- Liar, liar, pants on fire!
- You'll never amount to anything!
- Loser! Failure! Get a grip!
Making permanent change in your life is based on building relationships with others who BELIEVE in YOU! Relationships that strengthen who you REALLY are, what you desire in life, relationships that are loving, unconditional, unlimited, totally out-of-the-box from what you've allowed yourself to believe. That's what we call community! |
Take our hand and we'll walk you through that kind of environment. Where two or more gather together focused on a common desired outcome, a Higher Power* shows up to deliver that intent, or even something greater. That's how negative "tags" can be altered. It's a matter of overriding the subconscious programming.
The powerful strength of doing this with others is miraculous.
The strength of utilizing this website for that purpose now brings like-minded people together from all over the world, believing in a similar desired outcome, creating incredible power to make that thing happen.
